The 7th annual Pink for Peitz Benefit Rodeo is set for Friday, August 11 and Saturday, August 12 at the Saddle Club Arena in Mountain Home, Arkansas. The 2017 Pink for Peitz Rodeo is presented by Tough Enough to Wear Pink sponsored by Wrangler, Arkansas Family Rodeo/ Rand Rodeo Company, and the Chicks-n-Spurs Drill Team. All proceeds will benefit the Peitz Cancer Support House in Mountain Home, which provides free, comprehensive support services to cancer patients and their families.

The rodeo will include popular events such as barrel racing, bull riding, bronc riding, and calf roping. The Chicks-n-Spurs Drill Team will perform at the rodeo and each evening there will be a Breast Cancer Survivors’ Ceremony. Any breast cancer survivor who wishes to participate in the ceremony, please contact the Peitz House at (870) 508-CARE (2273). In addition to the rodeo events, the community will be able to support the Peitz Cancer Support House by participating in a Pink Jail Fundraiser, a silent auction, and a 50/50 split drawing at the event.

There will also be carousel pony rides provided by The Cowboy Church starting at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and tug of war contests on Saturday beginning at 6:15 p.m. The Troy Farnam Band will be performing at the event on Friday, August 11 at 6 p.m.

Tickets are available in advance at the Peitz Cancer Support House for $5 each. Tickets purchased on the day of the event will be $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-12, and children under 5 are free.

Another way that the public can support the cause is by purchasing a raffle ticket for one of three different custom belt buckles designed for the Pink for Peitz Rodeo. The raffle tickets are available now for $5 per ticket at the Peitz Cancer Support House in Mountain Home and will also be sold at the event.

‘Homer Lee’ is none other than Branson, Missouri’s favorite comedic actor, Terry Wayne Sanders.  He’s the busiest comedian in town with 16 different jobs in the entertainment field!  He’s still going strong in his 38th year as a comic headliner now known as ‘The Face of Branson’!

A veteran in films, Terry prefers the no-on-one touch and intimacy with audiences in live performances.  His comedy antics earned him a regular spot on television’s Hee Haw where he worked exclusively with Roy Clark, Grandpa Jones and Minnie Pearl.  Terry has more recently been working with CJ Newsom in “Classic Country’s Patsy Cline & Friends”.

CJ Newsom brings to life one of music’s most iconic legends, and pays tribute to other country greats!    Many performers imitate the incredible Patsy Cline, one of the most revered singers to ever pick up a microphone, but few do so with the passion and skill of CJ Newsom!  All the best Branson shows have at least a little bit of comedy; Newsom’s upped the ante with more than just a bit, she’s nabbed the comedy genius of the sensational Terry Sanders!  He’s been delighting fans for years with his zany cast of characters that include Homer Lee, Joan Rivers and Grandma Beulah.
