Last week we held a ribbon cutting for American Safeguard Insurance, Rob Coleman. The rain didn’t stop the crowd from coming out and enjoying BBQ and celebrating Rob’s opening. Arvest Bank was the host for our March Business After Hours.We had a great turn-out for the Chamber’s networking event. Sally Gilbert with Arvest and Jeff Quick with the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas shared about food insecurity in our community. Arvest has two upcoming campaigns to bring awareness to hunger in our community, Feed the Pack Day will be held on April 27th, look for volunteers at store fronts and intersections with green buckets collecting donations for the Food Bank. The second event will bethe 8th Annual 1 Million Meals campaign that will take place April 2nd-June nd. Arvest also presented a $500 check to the Food Bank of NorthCentral Arkansas to support the backpack program.
This Friday, April 6th is our monthly First Friday Luncheon held at El Chico from 12:00-1:00 p.m. hosted by Cloud 9 Ranch. First Friday Luncheons are Chamber networking events open to all members, their employees and/or guests.
