Into The Light
Into The Light, a local non-profit that is working to end human trafficking is hosting the “Hope Hour’, a lunch hour training at The Sheid on the Arkansas State University Campus in Mountain Home. This event is in the Trout Room on Thursday, January 26th from noon to one pm. The public is invited to this free event to learn more about how to combat child sex trafficking in north central Arkansas. Lunch will be provided by volunteers of the Baptist Collegiate Ministry. Into The Light serves over 150 victims each year, the majority of whom are child trafficking victims. Services include prevention, intervention, long term advocacy and 24-hour crisis response.
