The ASUMH Pipeline to Advanced Manufacturing is offering Introduction to Industrial Wiring, a class which will include employment and life skills lessons. The training will take place November 5-7 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is geared for any adult interested in learning in-demand job skills for manufacturing careers. The morning class sessions will cover employment skills such as job searching, resume building, and interviewing, as well as life skills such as emotional, financial, and social resource building, communication, and goal setting. The afternoon industrial wiring sessions will be taught at ASUMH’s Industrial Training Center (room 7) located in Pinkston Middle School. Class materials are provided. Students will break for lunch each day. Morning classes will be held in the Ozark Regional Arts Council Conference room on the 2nd floor in the Vada Sheid Community Development Center, on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home.
