Needs of Many will meet on Tuesday October 13, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church in the Fellowship Hall.
We are a not-for-profit who joins forces with other churches, organizations and individuals to better serve the needs of the community with a sharing of work and resources.
At this meeting we will discuss the fall campaign “Warm Someone’s Heart” which will take in collections during the month of November. The collected blankets, electric heaters and sleeping bags will be distributed through the Ozark Center of Hope, the Christian Clothing Exchange and other agencies who have needs.
Ciera Paulsen, CareCenterMinistries, will discuss what assistance Needs of Many will provide for Christmas Wish program. CareCenterMinistries now operates this program and have started taking applications from families with children who need help with Christmas gifts.
Robyn Snyder, Van Matre Senior Center, will discuss the needs of the center and Meals on Wheels during the pandemic.
We also will briefly discuss our benefit golf tournament to help NATS with getting bus stop signs and benches installed. The golf tournament at Twin Lakes Golf Course has been moved to September 24, 2021.
We always welcome and need more helping hands and resources. Consider joining us with open hearts and ideas!
