Baxter Health is a nonprofit hospital located in Mountain Home, Arkansas. As a fully integrated health care organization, they have been serving residents of Baxter, Marion, and surrounding counties since 1963. The 268-bed short-term acute care facility offers a wide range of services and specialties to meet the needs of the communities they serve. Along with medical technology, facility upgrades and scholarships, the Hospital Foundation provides the community with much needed education and support through the Community Health Education and Support Houses: Mruk Family Education Center on Aging, Peitz Cancer Support House, Reppell Diabetes Learning Center, and Schliemann Center for Women’s Health Education.
