Description of organization’s services:
Hope House provides transitional shelter for homeless men. We are planning to build transitional housing for additional homeless men, women, and children. In addition to meeting the immediate needs that the homeless have for shelter, food, clothing hygiene, medical care, and emotional, non-denominational spiritual support, our case managers assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the services required to meet our client’s legal health, financial, benefits and human services needs. HFA helps clients reconnect with family support, social services, and medical services. Laundry service, showers, job interviews, and jobs are provided as needed. HFA also provides emergency shelter to escape from freezing weather and snack, supplies, backpacks, tents, and sleeping bags for the homeless living outdoors. We don’t give a handout. Hope for All assistance is provided without discrimination or preconditions such as employment, income, absence of a criminal record, or sobriety. We give a hand up.
