Into the Light

All services provided by Into The Light are designed to foster trauma-informed, long-term relationships with children whose lives have been impacted by the trauma of the sex industry in Arkansas. The vast majority of the children we serve are Arkansans, though we serve any child regardless of where their trafficking occurred.

We are committed to seeing an end to the sex trafficking of children, no matter the cost.

INTERVENTION

Once a survivor of trafficking and exploitation is identified our team steps in to provide swift crisis intervention by meeting immediate needs and collaborating with all social services and law enforcement partners to ensure safety, justice is served, and a relationship with the child is established.

PREVENTION

Using the ENLIGHTENED presentation, the ITL team educates high-risk children on the methods sex traffickers use to lure their victims. Education equals prevention. Into the Light equips communities, social services and law enforcement on the root causes of sex trafficking and red flags indicating trafficking.

ADVOCACY

Our team of driven advocates build trust through weekly trauma-informed support and mentorship, intensive case management, on-going safety planning, court and law enforcement advocacy, self-efficacy building, and celebrating every step forward.

Into The Light serves human trafficking survivors in North Central, Northwest and Central Arkansas, with offices in Mountain Home, Springdale and now Little Rock.
