NACPAC - North Arkansas Conservative Political Action Committee (We Are Republicans)

Our mission is to represent and perpetuate Republican Values in Northern Arkansas, particularly in Baxter County. We will do this by working together in support of our preferred Republican candidates for political office. Our emphasis is on our local candidates, but we will also help those likeminded candidates seeking statewide or national office.

We are not the official representative of the Republican Party of Arkansas; the Baxter County Republican Committee is. Some NACPAC (We Are Republicans) advocates are members of the Baxter County Republican Committee, and many are former members.

As a Political Action Committee (PAC) we are not constrained by cumbersome rules and practices of the Republican Party of Arkansas. Those rules and practices are fine, but we are not governed by them. We are, however, held to account by the Office of Secretary of State and the Arkansas Ethics Commission. All of our financial dealings are recorded at the Ethics Commission and available for the public to see.

People who support us are not members. They are advocates. We are an egalitarian group. There is a small number of people holding a titled position, but this is only to provide a mechanism for organization and administration of duties mandated by the state. We are a group of likeminded Republicans. We avoid ‘in your face’ confrontations and seek to perpetuate Republican goals and values using our collective strength, wisdom, faith, knowledge, and history.
