David’s Trail Endurance Run

January - David's Trail Endurance Run offers a challenging course through the Ozarks along beautiful Norfork Lake. A great mix of single and double track takes you through 5,000+ ft. in elevation change for the 25K and even more for the 50K. davidstrailendurancerun.com

Baxter County Master Gardeners Seminar

March - Speakers share their expertise and experience to help attendees learn more about their gardens. The seminar will be held at First United Methodist Church Fellowship Center in Mountain Home.

Farmer's Market

Farmers and Merchants Bank and Jack's Package Store are proud to present this year's Farmers Market, hosted by the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas. Join the market each Wednesday and Saturday between April 2nd and November 26th at the corner of 5th and Shiras Streets in downtown Mtn. Home. You'll find over fifty vendors, including food trucks each week with live music performances on the first Saturday of each month.

Enjoy your mornings as you visit our vendors and take home everything from produce and flowers to honey, soaps, crafts, baked goods, metal works, artwork, spices, signature BBQ rubs, furniture, and so much more. Be sure to get in on our 50/50 drawings and amazing door prizes!

Baxter County Fair

The annual Baxter County Fair runs five days starting Tuesday and continuing through Saturday. The carnival is open from 5 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Events include a pageant, talent show, truck pull, parade, commercial exhibits, livestock judging, and baby contest. baxtercountyfair.org

Turkey Trot Festival

Second Weekend In October - Downtown Yellville

Craft Fest

Craft Fest is held the third full weekend of June and the weekend before Thanksgiving in November each year.
Show hours are Friday 9 am -5 pm, Saturday 9 am - 4 pm. It is a juried show, open to vendors who handcraft their items. No commercial, retail, manufactured, or re-sell items are eligible. FREE ADMISSION AND PARKING to the public. Drawings for free gifts every hour, donated by participating vendors. The Arts and Crafts Association sponsors a drawing for vendors at the close of each show.

Holiday Gifts at StoneCreek is the perfect place to shop for everyone on your list. 40+ booths sell gifts for women, men, kids, and pets. Marybeth Byrd is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter from Armorel, Arkansas. With a wheelhouse of Country and Pop, her love for music is rooted in her childhood, where the stage gave her a voice and helped her overcome stuttering. In 2019, she made the top 8 semifinals on S17 of NBC’s The Voice with the help of her coach, John Legend, and mentors, Usher and Taylor Swift. In 2023, she made the top 10 on S21 of American Idol! She now performs at various venues, teaches vocal lessons, makes dozens of appearances, and works on original music. Not only does she want to use her voice to sing, but also to tell the truth with grace in her music. A therapy - to herself and those listening. Her dream is to make this a full-time career and, hopefully, one day, hear a crowd screaming her songs at the top of their lungs.

The City of Mountain Home and ASUMH will host a drive-through holiday light display this year and a walking area. Lights will be displayed throughout the campus beginning November 24, 2023, and ending December 27, 2023.
