January - David's Trail Endurance Run offers a challenging course through the Ozarks along beautiful Norfork Lake. A great mix of single and double track takes you through 5,000+ ft. in elevation change for the 25K and even more for the 50K. davidstrailendurancerun.com
March - Speakers share their expertise and experience to help attendees learn more about their gardens. The seminar will be held at First United Methodist Church Fellowship Center in Mountain Home.

Farmers and Merchants Bank and Jack's Package Store are proud to present this year's Farmers Market, hosted by the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas. Join the market each Wednesday and Saturday between April 2nd and November 26th at the corner of 5th and Shiras Streets in downtown Mtn. Home. You'll find over fifty vendors, including food trucks each week with live music performances on the first Saturday of each month.

Craft Fest is held the third full weekend of June and the weekend before Thanksgiving in November each year.
​Show hours are Friday 9 am -5 pm, Saturday 9 am - 4 pm. It is a juried show, open to vendors who handcraft their items. No commercial, retail, manufactured, or re-sell items are eligible. FREE ADMISSION AND PARKING to the public. Drawings for free gifts are donated every hour by participating vendors. The Arts and Crafts Association sponsors a drawing for vendors at the close of each show.

The City of Mountain Home and ASUMH will host a drive-through holiday light display and a walking area this year. Lights will be displayed throughout the campus from November 29, 2024, to December 29, 2024.
