David’s Trail Endurance Run

January - David's Trail Endurance Run offers a challenging course through the Ozarks along beautiful Norfork Lake. A great mix of single and double track takes you through 5,000+ ft. in elevation change for the 25K and even more for the 50K. davidstrailendurancerun.com



Baxter County Master Gardeners Seminar

March - Speakers share their expertise and experience to help attendees learn more about their gardens. The seminar will be held at First United Methodist Church Fellowship Center in Mountain Home.

Sowbug Roundup

March - Baxter County Fairgrounds

Fly-tying and fly-casting demonstrations, seminars, and vendors are featured at the Baxter County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $10 for all three days. For more information, contact North Arkansas Fly Fishers at sowbugroundup@sowbugroundup.org.
Farmer's Market

Farmers and Merchants Bank and Jack's Package Store are proud to present this year's Farmers Market, hosted by the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas. Join the market each Wednesday and Saturday between April 2nd and November 26th at the corner of 5th and Shiras Streets in downtown Mtn. Home. You'll find over fifty vendors, including food trucks each week with live music performances on the first Saturday of each month.


Enjoy your mornings as you visit our vendors and take home everything from produce and flowers to honey, soaps, crafts, baked goods, metal works, artwork, spices, signature BBQ rubs, furniture, and so much more. Be sure to get in on our 50/50 drawings and amazing door prizes!

Baxter Healthcare Summer Concert Series

May-August - Hickory Park, Mountain Home

Norfork Pioneer Days Heritage Festival

May - Jacob Wolf House, Norfork

North Arkansas Woodcarvers Club Show and Sale

Red, White and Blue Festival

June - ASUMH Campus

The festival offers a parade, rodeo, car shows, a pageant, concerts, kids activities, food, fireworks, and more. Baxter County Fair

September - Baxter County Fairgrounds

The annual Baxter County Fair runs five days starting Tuesday and continuing through Saturday. The carnival is open from 5 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Events include a pageant, talent show, truck pull, parade, commercial exhibits, livestock judging, and baby contest. baxtercountyfair.org


Jamfest

October 22nd from 11 am to 6 pm.

Join us at Hickory Park in Mountain Home as we celebrate everything local in the Twin Lakes Area. From local jams, crafts, music, and food, this is a celebration you won’t want to miss!

Turkey Trot Festival

Second Weekend In October - Downtown Yellville

Mountain Home-Town Christmas Festival

December - Downtown Mountain Home

The Chamber Of Commerce Mountain Home-Town Christmas Festival and Parade will be held Friday, December 2, 2022. The parade marks the citywide holiday kickoff.


The time is here to sign up for the 2022 Mountain Home Christmas Parade! The parade will be held on Friday, December 2nd, at 6:00 PM. The parade will follow the traditional parade route from Hospital Drive to the Square. Registration is required by November 30th to prepare for judging: https://bit.ly/22MHPARADE.


As a reminder, all entries must be decorated, and please, no Santas! Our theme this year is "Twelve Days of Christmas."
