New Creation Properties

Walt and Amy McKay started New Creation Properties in 2019 with the goal of buying and restoring historic properties. Their first purchase was the historic cobblestone building at the corner of 8th and Baker which initially was a 1920's Chevrolet Dealership in Mountain Home. The 10,000 square foot building has been transformed into 8 apartments.  Some began as unfurnished and others as furnished. They have worked closely with the Arkansas Historic Preservation Society and The Federal Department of the Interior to approve any of the work done in an effort to retain the integrity of the historical building.  They hope this is the first of many projects as they strive to restore and repurpose historical structures and buildings.  Seven of the 8 apartments are fully furnished rentals for short or long term stays.
