Arkansas State University-Mountain Home seeks applicants for Full-Time Nursing Faculty.When an individual accepts a teaching appointment at ASUMH, they agree to fulfill the responsibilities of a professional educator under the direction of the Academic Dean and the Director of Health Science. The primary duty is teaching assigned classes. Additional responsibilities include student success initiatives, service to the college and community, professional development, and other duties as assigned. Nursing faculty are responsible for course delivery, including assessment, planning, implementation, grading, course creation, proctoring, test review, and evaluation. They also evaluate student performance and mentor students, focusing on retention and licensure. Minimum qualifications include license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas, a Master’s Degree in nursing, and a Baccalaureate Degree in nursing plus evidence of continued progress toward a Master's or higher degree in nursing. Applicants must currently practice and have two (2) years full-time equivalent practice as a Registered Nurse. This role exists to ensure marketing dollars translate into qualified leads, signed leases, and occupancy growth. The position operates with full accountability for results, efficiency, and clear reporting. Arkansas State University-Mountain Home seeks applicants for Dean of Technology and Health Sciences.The Dean of Technology and Health Sciences provides strategic, academic, and operational leadership for the College’s comprehensive portfolio of credit and non-credit workforce, technical, and health science programs. This role requires a collaborative, transparent leader who supports faculty and staff and ensures teams feel heard. The Dean aligns diverse programs under a unified direction while responding to workforce needs and enrollment realities.In this leadership model, the Dean also serves as Director of Nursing, providing direct oversight of all nursing programs and ensuring compliance with state, regional, and programmatic accreditation and licensure requirements. The Dean will work in close collaboration with an additional administrative leader who supports non-healthcare technical programs and the College’s Secondary Technical Center to ensure consistent communication and responsiveness.The Dean reports to the Provost/Chief Academic Officer and serves as a key member of the College’s senior leadership team, with a strong emphasis on employer relations, partnership development, and workforce alignment across all programs to promote student excellence which leads to enrollment growth.This position requires a master’s degree in nursing, healthcare, education or related field.
