Designed and implemented custom programs, scripts, and reports within the banner system to meet organizational needs. Work with functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical support for Banner-related projects and upgrades. Design Argos processes for state and federal reports to allow the individual departments to maintain the reports for the future. Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and modifications. Provide training and support to end-users and staff on Banner database functionalities and tools. Assist faculty, staff, and students with helpdesk items as needed to support the Computer Services Department. Travel locally as well as potential conferences for Banner and/or Argos. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred/or equivalent experience in SQL programming. Preferred experience in Banner Student Information Systems. Familiar with other database systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL). Proven experience as a DBA, with a strong focus on Banner ERP systems. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL Programming. Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling. Knowledge of database security best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
