Serenity Inc. is a non-profit group that was founded in 1988 to provide a comprehensive system of support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Last year Serenity helped over 400 women and their children become free of violence. Serenity provides a safe shelter, a 24 hour hotline, and an ongoing network of support. They also have a resale store, The Purple Door Upscale Resale Shoppe. Proceeds generated from the store are used to fund programs and services. Serenity is always looking for volunteers to help with the store and also assist at the shelter.
