Well established and safety-conscious independent shop is hiring for an experienced Medium and Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic in the Twin Lakes area. Future team members should have at least 1-year experience working on semi-trucks, trailers, and motor homes in a shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, self-starter, and attention to detail.Minimum Requirements:• 1-year experience in a mechanical field• Trade school or Technical training desirable.• MUST have some tools in a mobile setup (roll box) for most mechanical repairs (specialty equipment is provided)• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record• Must be physically able to work for extensive periods to include lifting up to 70lbs, bending, squatting, crouching, and reachingJob Duties:• Inspecting and repairing: brake systems, steering mechanisms, hydraulic systems, DC electrical systems, diesel engines, transmission, axles, pumps, compressors, • Performing routine/preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment• Repairing or replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment• Tire repair and replacement• Following safety protocols and procedure• Housekeeping and general facility cleanup• Other duties, as assignedBenefits:Pay is negotiable depending on experience level• Free uniforms and cleaning (after 1 month)• Paid holidays (6 days a year, after 6 months)• Paid vacation (one week after one year, two weeks after five years)• $100 work boot stipend (after one year and every year after that)• Quarterly bonuses dependent on shop performance (after 6 months)

Sous Chef
Rapp’s Barren Brewing Company is seeking a qualified Sous Chef/s to join our team in our new taproom and gastropub, opening early summer 2021. The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in menu creation, execution of all meals, and management of kitchen staff. Responsibilities include management, cooking, prep, inventory, cleaning and all other duties associated with running a kitchen.The Sous Chef is responsible for managing the kitchen when the Executive Chef is not present and assists in running the kitchen when they are present. This role is 100% hands-on. The Sous Chef works closely with the Rapp’s Barren team to ensure guests have a fantastic all-around food experience.Qualifications:The ideal candidate loves food, has a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and is very team-oriented.
