Mountain Home Food Basket

The local US Post Office has partnered with the NALC (National Association of Letter Carriers) to hold a food drive. Businesses and individuals within the city or rural areas of Mountain Home can participate in this.Place your in date non-perishable food items (no glass) in a bag / sack at your mailbox. The carriers will pick up and Mountain Home Food Basket volunteers will receive, weigh and take to our facility.In years past we collected over 10,000 pounds of food. In last couple years it has been 3600 and 5200 pounds of food. Mountain Home Food Basket serves over 500 households per month. We are 100% based on donated food and financial gifts and all workers are volunteer.
