Shockwave Therapy Lunch & LearnThe Schliemann Center for Women’s Health will host a Lunch & Learn on Shockwave Therapy on Thursday, August 27th at 12:15 pm. Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy acoustic waves to stimulate healing in injured or painful tissues. It is now commonly used in physical therapy to treat chronic tendon injuries, plantar fasciitis, shoulder pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. During treatment, a handheld device delivers targeted sound waves to the affected area, which may help increase blood flow, promote tissue repair and reduce pain. The speaker is Jason Smith, PT. To register call Darby Mccann, coordinator 870-508-2345. Or dmccann@baxterregional.org.
