What is Leadership Mountain Home

Leadership Mountain Home is a selective, ten-month leadership development program designed to prepare engaged individuals to better understand, serve, and lead within the Twin Lakes Area. Running from March through December, the program offers participants an immersive, cohort-based experience that combines monthly full-day sessions, a leadership retreat, civic engagement, and a group community impact project. Participants gain firsthand exposure to local systems, decision-making processes, and community challenges while building meaningful relationships across business, nonprofit, education, and government sectors. Leadership Mountain Home is not a lecture series—it is a hands-on, participatory experience that requires commitment, engagement, and follow-through.

Who Should Apply

Leadership Mountain Home is for individuals who want to be more involved in their community and are ready to grow as leaders. The program is a good fit for emerging and established leaders from business, nonprofit, education, healthcare, agriculture, and public service who are willing to commit the time and energy required to participate fully.
