In 1991 the Leadership Mountain Home was formed to create well-rounded and community-minded individuals with a common desire to improve the quality of life in the Twin Lakes Area. Each year, the Chamber offers a class for local professionals to:
Learn about the inner workings of city, county, and state government by meeting area leaders.
Expand your networking base by meeting community leaders and other business professionals.
Gain knowledge of what sustains the quality of life for our area by meeting healthcare professionals, educational leaders, law enforcement officials and more!
Be challenged to assist with the needs and opportunities of theTwin Lakes area and the dynamics of its growth.
Be exposed to new experiences, challenges and skills that will help and change you on both a professional and personal level.
The Leadership Mountain Home program runs from August to June. Monthly sessions include: TeamBuilding/Communication, Local History/Tourism, Local Government, Healthcare, Media, State Government/Arkansas History, Local Industry, Local Education and Law Enforcement. The group also completes a group project.
If you are considering enrolling an employee in Adult Leadership, or participating yourself, the cost is $850 a person and this includes all expenses for the program.
