The ASUMH Pipeline to Advanced Manufacturing is offering an introductory industrial sewing with employment skills class. The training will take place from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. January 22 and 23, and from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. on the 24th. The class is geared for any adult interested in learning in-demand job skills for manufacturing careers. Sessions will cover employment skills such as job searching, resume building, and interviewing. Class materials are provided and there is no charge for the course. Class will meet in Gotaas Hall room 301 on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home. The industrial sewing sessions will be taught by Rebecca Porterfield and Helen Hicks at ASUMH’s Industrial Training Center (room 7) located in Pinkston Middle School.
